POLKA DOT SNOWBALLS (CHRISTMAS COOKIES)

2 cups of flour

1/2 teaspoon of salt

Mix and set aside above ingredients. Blend:

3/4 cup of butter

1/2 cup of sugar

2 teaspoons of vanilla

Beat in 1 egg. Stir in dry ingredients. Add:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. of semi sweet chocolate bits

1 cup of chopped nuts

Shape in 1" balls. Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350 degrees on an ungreased cookie sheet.

Cool and roll in powdered sugar. Freeze well.
